I’m Back! What I’ve been up to and such…..

So first off, I just wanted to say how sorry I am for not posting for MONTHS!!

My life has been insanely hectic…I don’t even know where to begin!

Well first off, I got an internship which has been running my life lately. I’m interning for the local civic center, which also has a huge theatre on the inside. I’m a marketing intern so I’m in charge of advertising events (mostly concerts) and raising public awareness about the civc center’s refurbishment efforts.  The building itself is 134 years old and needs A LOT of work, so we are trying to raise money to refurbish, restore, and remodel it.  Even though I’m just an intern, I am given a lot of responsibilities and there is a likelihood that this internship could turn into a job post graduation, or a part-time job before I graduate. Needless to say I’ve been really focused on my internship in order to impress my boss.

On Tuesday, Mumford and Sons will be playing in the Civic Center’s theatre (The Gryphon Theatre), so things have been insanely stressful the last month, trying to make this happen.

I’ve also been taking classes over the summer which took up a lot of my time.  Believe me, 2 jobs and class is a lot to handle, and it won’t slow down anytime soon because classes start on the 27th!

Obviously life has taken over, and I’ve been consumed with work and school and haven’t spent a ton of time focusing on myself.  I’ve definitely neglected working out and my body has paid for it.

Over the next couple of months, the tone of this blog will change.  Along with posting my usual fitness/health tips and tricks, I’ll also be talking about my new weight loss journey.

I think that I am the perfect example of how life can get in the way and certain things that should be important, fell to the waist side.  I know it’s going to be a long few months but I’m confident I can get back into top condition by the middle or end of October!!

Love your blog, so inspiring. I joined a health club yesterday because I just wasn't putting the work in, I got a personal trainer and he's devising up a work out program fitted to my needs. (Expensive shit but you inspire me so much and it's all so worth it <3) I asked about squats and told him I felt pressure on the knees, he showed me how to do them correctly! He said 'squats are one of the best work outs you can do!' reminded me of your blog. :) But yeah thank youuuu!!!! x

Thank you so much! Good luck with the trainer! A good way to save some money for that is once you start to see results and get a workout plan you might find that you won’t need a trainer in a month or two
